September 2026

• 09.17 · Endless mode has a second key now: finish 15 runs and the zen version opens (no mic, no lives, just an endless stream to flow over). The mic key (hit 50%+ on beat) still unlocks the 3-lives competitive version. Either way, the unlock toast now carries a "Play Endless now" button that drops you straight in.
• 09.17 · Example lines learned to talk to each other: on the most-played word families, one word's hint now sets up the next word's line, so two stuck bars in a row read as a real couplet instead of two random sentences. The game quietly prefers serving words that keep the pair going.
• 09.16 · No more cheap rhymes back to back: the game won't serve two words from the same root in a row anymore (looking at you, "vert … revert"). The word pool itself got cleaned too — variant pairs like "orthodox / unorthodox" are out of the game (they're still in the rhyme dictionary, where they belong).
• 09.16 · Mic timing rescue now covers the built-in beats too: it used to only re-anchor on custom YouTube/SoundCloud tracks, so a run on a built-in beat could judge you against a drifted clock and score real hits as misses. The self-correction now rides along on every beat.
• 09.14 · No badge wall on arrival: badges your history already earned now celebrate on the result screen after your first round, instead of covering the page the moment you walk in.
• 09.14 · Custom beats, judged right at last: if you pasted your own track and the game swore you were silent, it wasn't you — the game was watching YouTube's clock instead of the music, and a rounding slip could park it a full second off. It now locks onto the actual audio, rides out buffering hiccups, and re-aligns itself mid-run if the track starts crooked. Your own beats finally count your bars.
• 09.14 · Links that carry a beat now say so: open one and the track's name, tempo and drop time greet you on a card with one big Play button — no more landing on a plain homepage wondering what just loaded.
• 09.13 · Mic scoring, once more: some players landed every word on time and still got zero — the game was listening at the wrong offset and never course-corrected. It now re-anchors itself to how you actually rap, and if you're consistently early or late, it tells you which. Said the word, got the point.
• 09.11 · Endless mode: three misses and you're out, the words never stop. It's locked — hit 50%+ on beat with the mic on (the Locked In badge) and it's yours. Survive 100 bars and the card says so.
• 09.11 · Badges are in: 27 of them, from your first finished round to a 16-bar clean combo. Your practice history already unlocked a few — check Progress in the top bar. Everything stays on your device, no account.
• 09.11 · Mic scoring, fixed again: the timing your sound check measures now kicks in the moment the check passes (it used to sit unused for the whole run), and the game keeps correcting itself mid-run if it starts judging you early or late. Said the word but got a miss? Much rarer now. Also: on phones, a Play bar follows you down the page.
• 09.09 · Challenge links got a proper face: the beat, the words and their score on one big card, your result confirmed on screen when you finish.
• 09.08 · Beats play right on the page, no round trip to YouTube. New weekly chart of what players actually practiced on.
• 09.05 · Same words for everyone, every day. Challenges replay your exact run, and your Day streak shows on the share card.
• 09.04 · Difficulty adapts to how you're playing. Also: the leaderboard stopped accepting 0-clean runs (somebody briefly topped it with zero bars).
• 09.03 · SoundCloud beats are in. Phones fold the intro away mid-run. Fixed silent beats on some Androids.

• 08.30 · Share card v2: your bar-by-bar trail, a "Choked at bar 7" badge when a run collapses, and a QR code into the game.
• 08.29 · The mic sound check talks back: "Hearing you" the moment it catches your voice.
• 08.28 · Optional example lines mid-run, for when your brain goes blank. On/off toggle next to New words.
• 08.26 · A Feedback button on the site, no email needed. Half of this page started as a note from there.
• 08.24 · Three new rhyme schemes: ABBA, AAXX, AXAX.
• 08.23 · The mic engine, rebuilt: it learns how you attack the beat and stops counting drum bleed as your voice. Same day, the daily leaderboard.
