How it works
- Pick a beat. The same library you practice with on The Rhyme Game: boom bap, trap, drill and lo-fi from 85 to 140 BPM, plus your own YouTube or SoundCloud links.
- Rap for 30 seconds. Hit record and spit whatever you have. Written bars, off the top, mumble flow, all fine.
- Get your score. Timing, pocket and rhyme density, graded against the beat itself and laid out on a card you can flex or keep to yourself.
Why scoring against a beat matters
Most "rate my rap" tools ask you to paste lyrics and let a language model guess. That can tell you your rhymes are dense. It cannot tell you whether you were on the beat, because a text box never hears the beat.
Rate My Flow listens to your audio against the beat's actual timeline: how close each bar lands to the beat, whether your flow rides the pocket or drifts off, where your rhymes fall inside each bar. It is the same mic timing tech that already scores you in The Rhyme Game, turned into a report card.
